In 2008, 4 sex workers working in the one-woman apartment were robbed and killed. Later, two killers were arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment. The killer who killed three sex workers lodged an application for leave to appeal with the Court of Appeal but the application was denied. Recently, the other killer also lodged the application. The Court of Appeal eventually granted the leave to appeal as the Judge of the Court of Appeal agreed that the Court of First Instance Judge did mislead the Jurors when summarizing the case. Both the prosecuting and defending side should decide within 14 days after the decision of the Court of Appeal if they agree to change the case from a murder case to manslaughter case, or to send the case back for retrial.

Presently, both the prosecuting and defending side has not yet made the final decision. We are also not sure how the case will go. Yet, we firmly believe that the long arm of justice will eventually catch up on the killer. The killer will have to pay for what he has done.
